Based in Xiamen, Fujian Province, the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”), Changtian started off as a manufacturer of adhesive tapes before leveraging on its technical expertise to expand into the production of release papers, biaxially-oriented polyamide (BOPA) film and 2-Acrylamido 2-Methyl propane sulfonic acid (2-A2MPS).

Today, Changtian is a leading manufacturer of chemical-based products, serving diverse sectors. The Group is one of the few 2-A2MPS manufacturers in the PRC, and ranks amongst a handful of BOPA film domestic manufacturers. 2-A2MPS is a raw material used in the manufacture of water-soluble polymers, which are used in industrial processes; BOPA film is used for packaging perishable food and odour-sensitive products and is mainly sold to customers in the food and beverage industry.

Changtian is also a leading manufacturer of adhesive tapes, release papers and film, which are sold mainly to customers in the packaging, food and beverage, electronics and construction industries. The Group has started production of a new product: UV cured release film, which has applications in the manufacture of personal hygiene products. Currently, most of the demand for UV cured release film in the PRC is satisfied by imports.

Our adhesive tapes, release papers and BOPA film are sold under our brand name “ 长天 ” and our 2-A2MPS products are sold under our brand name “ 欣长天 ”, both of which are well-recognised in the PRC.

Changtian was listed on the SGX Mainboard on 9 November 2007.
